OFFICE

Outside of the Christmas season (November-December), the office is manned 1 day a week. Please contact us by email and we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.

CHANGE IS IN THE AIR FOR 2025

After over 23 years of the Tree Barn Christmas Shop running alongside the Tree Barn Christmas Trees, the time has come for change.

Jane is not getting any younger and feels she has reached her peak in the world of Christmas Retail, so needs to scale things down for her sanity and quality of life.

From 2025 the plan is for the Christmas Shop to be scaled back and therefore become smaller, more manageable and exclusive.

Along with the Christmas essentials, such as tree stands, basic lighting and wreaths, we hope to add a sprinkling of more ethical, unique, sustainable, and local (where possible) Christmas goodies.

Plus maybe a small Christmas Café….

So, watch this space!!

(Local suppliers; please bear in mind that our mark up on top of your price would have to include VAT and enough margin to cover our overheads to make it worth our while, which can sadly often make the end retail price too much.)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do we rent out Pot-Grown/living trees?

A: We do not offer a ‘Tree Hire’ service.

Q: Do we deliver?
A: Yes we deliver trees (only) within a range of 30 miles. Deliveries can be arranged when you purchase your tree in-person from our Tree Barn. We no longer offer an online ordering service.
Q: Do we have a cafe?
A: We do not have a café but have a fabulous coffee machine and small seating area, plus we will have a coffee van on weekends and Thursday/Friday late nights. We also encourage you to visit the beautiful Fox & Hounds pub in Christmas Common.
Q: Do we take credit cards?
A: Yes, most credit / debit cards except American Express.
Q: Do we allow dogs?
A: Dogs are welcome in the area where we sell the trees but not permitted in the Christmas shop unless carried. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Q: Do we have wheelchair access?
A: A wheelchair can reach most parts of the shop and for a more enjoyable experience, we suggest coming during the week as weekends can get very busy. Apologies, but we only have one loo and it is not a disabled loo.

WE ARE CONTINUING TO PRACTICE SOME COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES:

  • We encourage shopping during the week, plus late nights on Thursdays and Fridays to lessen the crowds at weekends.
  • Increased floor space where possible in Christmas shop to support social distancing.
  • Restricted numbers of people in the shop during peak times.
  • Extra outside tills in the Tree Barn to enable paying for trees/stands/wreaths/mistletoe without needing to go into shop.
  • Hand sanitiser units have been installed at various points throughout the premises.
  • In the event of COVID becoming widespread again, all shop elves will wear protective face coverings.
